Our Process

1. Water removal. The first step is to use our powerful and specialized truck mounted equipment to remove as much water as possible. Using this particular equipment allows us to effectively reach and remove water underneath the surface, where the growth of mold is most likely to occur. In fact, this one step alone will remove the majority of the water.
2. Begin drying. Next we will bring in our professional grade drying equipment, such as dehumidifiers and air movers. These will be set up and left to finish removing moisture not only your carpeting, but also from other water damaged areas like furniture and walls.
3. Apply antimicrobial solution. As preventing accumulation of mold is the number one reason for flood and water damage restoration, Carpet Savvy will apply an antimicrobial solution to any area where we find moisture present.
4. Follow up. After we apply the antimicrobial solution, we will leave the air movers and dehumidifiers to complete the drying process. One of our technicians will periodically return to check on the moisture levels and equipment to ensure proper drying is occurring.
